We were delighted to have been awarded a donation from Llanelli Rural Council during their visit to our studios, at Prince Phillip Hospital today (Thursday 16th March 2023).

Cllr. Giles Morgan (Chairman) and Cllr. Michelle Donoghue (Chairman of the Finance and General Purposes Committee) visited Prince Philip hospital today and met with our Chairperson, David Hurford to present a cheque for £100 on behalf of Llanelli Rural Council.

David Hurford, Chairperson said, “We are extremely grateful for the generosity of the rural council. As a charity, we rely on donations such as these, along with public and private donations to keep Radio BGM broadcasting to those within the Prince Phillip Hospital, and our wider communities.”

Whilst at our studios, the Councillors were given a tour of the studios, highlighting the development and investment in broadcasting equipment that has been made since the hindering Covid-19 period.

Llanelli Rural Council is committed to encouraging community development by working closely with the community by offering financial support for community based projects.  The fund supports community groups and organisations based in the Council’s administrative area.

We are extremely grateful for all donations, and kindly thank those within the council for recognising Radio BGM as a sound investment for their community development fund.
